Over the course of 35 years, the once small moving business has blossomed into an international corporation with more than 3,000 trucks and more than 350 locations worldwide. This is all thanks to Mary Ellen’s dedication and passion for the brand.
What started as a part-time job for brothers Brig Sorber and Jon Sorber in the early 80s, has grown internationally with locations in The United States, Canada, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. We’re proud of our system’s achievements and recognition as one of the top franchising opportunities in the country through various accolades.
At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, we put a heavy emphasis on staying active locally and giving back in our communities through various charitable efforts. Mary Ellen donated her first $1,000 in profits to 10 local charities, establishing a precedent of giving that has carried on for over 35years. This mindset, in addition to following through each of the company core values, spans across each of our locations and it is this spirit that gives meaning to the company’s motto: “Movers Who Care®.”
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is led by an executive team with a combined average of 30 years’ leadership experience. Each member of this dedicated team puts their heart and soul into moving people forward, each and every day. Living the core values, the leadership team exemplifies giving back to the community, both personally and professionally, through volunteering and serving on non-profit boards.
In his role with Franchise Development, John will ensure potential candidates understand the opportunity and process, and guide them down a path of success for their career and for the brand.
John earned his Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Windsor and holds both B.Comm. and B.A. designations.
Brad assists franchisees getting their Quickbooks and accounting systems established properly and provides ongoing support to help ensure your bookkeeping and accounting stay current and accurate.
Brad earned a Bachelor of Accounting (B.Acc) from Brock University and holds both C.A. and CPA designations.
His knowledge of consumer psychology, coupled with his commitment to meeting the needs of franchisees and his long range vision for the company, allow Chuck to effectively define the company's services in the marketplace and help set the benchmarks for its success.
Chuck holds an Honours BA in Psychology and an Executive MBA from Monitor University in Boston.
